Job description

Details:
• Provide support by testing raw material and finished product sampling to ensure compliance with specific standards
• Perform plant trials and validation testing for product and process changes.
• Perform testing of laboratory samples as assigned utilizing analytical processes, general laboratory techniques (e.g., Pipetting, Weighing), and instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, Spectroscopy, Dissolution, Karl Fischer, etc.).
• Perform analytical testing per the test method as written.
• Review and approve testing documentation of peer analysts.
• Organize work to allow for the logical and timely progression of sample analysis.
• Assist in laboratory investigations of OOS/Atypical results.
• Be proficient with computers and related laboratory applications (e.g., Word, Excel, LIMS, CDS, Prism, Instrument-controlling).
• Adhere to all GSK safety guidelines.
• Demonstrate T.R.I.P. values.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work any shift as required
• Self-starter that demonstrates initiative
• Cooperative, works well with others, shows concern for other's feelings, builds rapport with others, customer oriented.
• Flexible, able to handle change in requirements of team, rotation of roles, changes to work schedules, unexpected events
• Willing to perform any task as required to meet business needs
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills

• Knowledge of GMP requirements

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in a Laboratory Science
• 3 years experience

Preferred qualifications:
• Prior experience in the cGMP laboratory environment
