As HVAC/R Technician, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility HVAC/R Systems and Process Refrigeration; as well as operation of site building management systems, SCADA Systems, contractor management, and site project assistance with the engineering department. Work on residential, commercial and industrial systems. Performs all filter maintenance/certification activities. Assures all related documentation is complete and accurate.

· Operate, maintain, repair, and install direct expansion air conditioning or refrigeration system components including compressors, coils, valves, regulators, and control systems.
· Operate, maintain, and repair central chilled water systems including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and control systems.
· Operate, maintain, and repair ventilating equipment including air handling units, exhaust fans, cooling or heating coils, and duct mounted terminal units. Perform air pressurization testing, troubleshooting, and repair for air systems.
· Operate, maintain, and repair building control devices including electronic and pneumatic valves and actuators, thermostats, controllers, relays, and transmitters.
· Use schematic and/or logic diagrams to diagnose control system failures.
· Perform troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of electronic control system devices including transmitters, controllers, sensors, switches, and signal converters.
· Provide maintenance and repair services to support the activities of the Biological Vaccine Production Process.
· Perform maintenance and repairs on process equipment including but not limited to: Lyophilizers, Vacuum Systems, Clean In Place Systems, Sterilizers, Process Chillers, Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers, Reach-In and Walk-In Refrigerators and Incubators.
· Use schematic drawings to diagnose electrical control and motor power circuits to 480 Volts, including variable frequency drive operation, programming and repair.
· Operation, troubleshooting, repair, and monitoring of site building management systems.
· Operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, replacement, and certification of Air handling filters, Laminar Air Flow Systems, terminal HEPA filters, exhaust air HEPA systems, and Biological Safety Cabinets.
· Work closely with shift team to achieve goals in a 24/7 cGMP Production Environment.
· Determine severity, course of action and notify relevant personnel of potential issues, equipment failures, etc. Determine the sequence and actions to be taken during HVAC-R troubleshooting or repair operations.
· Safely shut down systems or equipment to allow inspection, maintenance, or renovation.
· Initiate the purchasing process by identifying and specifying replacement parts and materials.
· Assist validation services with completion of studies and documentation.
· Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to assigned equipment and make recommendations for maintenance frequencies and tasks necessary to enhance equipment operation, life, and maintainability.
· Determine the analytical sequence and actions to be taken during mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting and repair operations.
· Perform multi-craft assignments as directed.
· Assist other trades as needed and work on any assignment as directed.
· Assure all documentation (work order, log books, etc) are complete and accurate.
· Maintain neat and accurate records.
· Must be able to work independently on off-shifts and call-ins in order to troubleshoot and repair equipment on an emergency basis.
· Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable EHS and GMP regulations, guidelines, policies, standard operating procedures, and industry practice and Industrial Excellence initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
· Associate Degree in a relevant technical discipline and 5 years of related work experience in the HVAC/R industry, or Commercial Refrigeration Service experience of not less than 7 years.
· EPA Universal Technician Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
· Two years experience in a pharmaceutical, food or research facility working with facility regulatory guidelines standard operating procedures is preferred.
· Previous experience with Facility Start Up is preferred.
· Lyophilization process including troubleshooting and repair is preferred
