Global Supply Chain Planner ( External Supply) 

In this role you will…

· 
Plan supply from a Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) for the Global Supply Chain from production to the point of sale.

· 
Ensure plans are balanced and meet Pharma business priorities.

· 
Develop an optimal, achievable supply plan for a SKU subset, aligned to the CMO’s capacity statements and scheduling needs.

· 
Ensure product is available at the point of sale within the inventory and service policies for the Therapy through use of inventory corridor management and working collaboratively with the Therapy Supply Chain Managers.

· 
Maintain accurate supply planning parameters in the ERP system.  Regularly review demonstrated performance against SC design.

· 
Review potential service impacts (Stock Outs & Predicted Stock Outs) based on agreed tier segmentation and take appropriate action to minimise impact.

· 
Provide input for the Supply Review Meeting (SRM) as part of the Core Commercial Cycle (CCC).  All decisions affecting capacity, inventory and service policy changes made through this process.

· 
Ensure accurate API net req’s are maintained for the CMO which are shared with the Global Material Planners.

Pharma Supply Chain Planning is changing its operating model to better align roles, processes and analytics to better serve the changing business focus of the Pharmaceuticals business goals.  Planning roles will be Franchise aligned rather than aligned to supply chain nodes. This will ensure accountabilities and decision-making are clear and Planning delivers the business outcomes required by the Pharma business. The new Pharma Planning Operating Model defines a new organisational structure, roles and processes to support these changes.

The Global Supply Chain Planner is the key interaction point between the CMO and the Regional Hubs. Work with the CMO to enable Rough Cut Capacity Planning, maintain accurate planning parameters in the system and handover an optimal, achievable supply plan to the local Planning team at the CMO for production execution.

Relevant Supply Planning experience required, preferably in Pharmaceuticals or FMCG environment

Knowledge of SC processes and systems in a business environment

· 
Analytical skills

· 
Advanced level Excel skills required

· 
APO knowledge will be on plus.

Very good communication and influencing skills

· 
Ability to build strong working relationships with Global Site functions

· 
Proficiency in English, German language will  be an advantage
