Job description

Your Responsibilities :
We have an exciting opportunity for an Indirect Tax Process Expert at our Brentford HQ! This is a fantastic role for someone looking to join a global team and work on a variety of projects within Tax Operations.

In this role you will identify and lead Indirect Tax & other operational tax transformation, technology and process improvement projects. You will act as an Indirect Tax process SME and project manager.

Your responsibilities:

• You will lead on all project activities on a wide range of Indirect Tax projects, from engagement and assessment, project planning, design, implementation, testing, training and success measurement.
• Preparation and presentation of project deliverables, such as business or system requirements, stakeholder briefing packs, test scripts, tax guidance and reports.
• Leading project management activities such as preparing project plans, monitoring activities and communicating progress via steering groups.
• You will prepare and lead the delivery of training in relation to technology and process, for Tax and other groups such as P2P which have a direct impact on Tax compliance
• You will have responsibilities for information gathering and analysis (data, SOPs, process maps)
• Supporting with proposals and business cases for new projects
• You will prepare system and process design documentation
• Taking the role of SPOC for various Indirect & Operational taxes stakeholder groups and governance boards as required

Basic qualifications:
• Degree in relevant field
• Demonstrable experience in an Indirect Tax role
• Proactive mindset and ability to work under own initiative
• Strong tax technical knowledge
• Experience working within a large, complex organisation
• Strong attention to detail
• You will have strong stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge and understanding of tax regimes and business processes

Preferred qualifications:
• A qualification in Tax (ATT / CTA) is advantageous but not essential
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP
