Due to an internal promotion an opportunity is available for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the Sydney Team. This role is within our Pain Division and you'll assist with creating amazing campaigns, leading projects and working on new product launches.

GSK is looking for a proactive, collaborative individual who is capable of working autonomously. Your ability to deliver results, work cross functionally and utilise your exceptional communications skills will be instrumental in your success.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of consumer marketing strategies
• Assist in the launch of new product development and their consumer & trade campaigns to support the achievement of revenue, sales targets and contribute to the brand growth
• Contribute to the development and implementation of expert marketing strategies
• Work with cross functional teams to identify, develop and implement effective brand tactics ensuring all opportunities are fully utilised
• Track and report on sales budgets, forecasts and market performance data to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets
• Manage & track the Advertising and Promotional budget

Key skills and experience required:

• Experience in executing brand strategies & plans
• Project Management
• Superior ability to manage execution using planning and project management skills
• Proven ability to collect and analyse data and make sound hypothesis
• Proven communication skills (both written and oral) for the preparation of marketing and promotional plans, tactics and materials
• Communication and interpersonal skills for liaising effectively with management, staff and external stakeholders (ie: agencies)
• Delivering results and expectations
• Drive to take initiative and work under own direction
• Experience working on a large FMCG brand is desirable
