Job description

MISSION:

You lead the Pure Play channel including all relevant accounts and with direct accountability for the GSUK Amazon account.

You develop and implement an Ecommerce strategy for GSUK that compliments the channel management approach & recognizes Pure Play as the growth engine.

You deliver sustained profitable growth by improving performance of current Pure Play accounts and by unlocking new opportunities within new customers and categories, and by driving GSUK Online share (Online / Offline) ahead of market share.

You deliver shopper centric activity plans to all customers linking both marketing priorities and digital plans to maximise and amplify all GSUK assets.

As part of the Sales Leadership team you drive all GSUK Ecommerce customer platforms to be BIC, represent GSUK within the European organization (IKAM), work closely with the internal digital team to create a GSUK ‘Digital community' that delivers best in class content and execution, and ensure GSUK are leading edge in Ecommerce through external forums and learnings within the industry.

Desired profile

PROFILE:




You have significant training/experience in Ecommerce & Social Media – ideally outside of sales eg, owning own business in Ecommerce / being part of a set up business (min 2 years) and in-depth knowledge of working for a Ecommerce customer eg Amazon, AO, SDG (min 1 year).

You are able to demonstrate growth from either of the above 2 areas, and have significant people management experience both in number and development.

You demonstrate management of numerous tasks and stakeholders at once ensuring all are completed, and using some form of project management (Prince) structure.

You demonstrate strategic thinking, understanding complex fast moving environments.

You act with confidence, understanding others in order to influence effectively.

You show resilience & agility to tackle complex and challenging projects, within a sales led environment.
