The Assistant Product Manager will assist in the product development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing activities targeted to increase brand awareness and market share. Specific duties include:

·  Establishes, maintains and provides expert knowledge of assigned categories including sales and POS tracking and reporting, category insights, market trends, consumer needs and competitive threats
·  Manages the day to day business processes to ensure effective and efficient business management to deliver budget commitment - Responsible for analytics on category including sales performance, market dynamics, promotional impact, product mix, profitability
·  Work with the Marketing Manager to develop plans/ programs that will maintain and drive sales respecting the product positioning and pricing strategy and margin/profit goals
·  Assists the Marketing Manager with the development of Line Reviews and business presentations for key stakeholder meetings including: Retail partners, Commercial Department, Business Unit, Management Committee
·  Develops category plans by incorporating market, shopper, customer, and consumer insights to inform Pricing, Promotion, Product Assortment and Placement
·  Leveraging category, consumer & product insights, develops marketing communications objectives, positioning and key messages for national marketing communications
·  Ensures continuity of communications strategy across all consumer touch points (traditional mass media, digital and social media, merchandising, PR, packaging, retail activation)

PROFILE:  

·  Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) with 3 years’ experience in field of marketing.
·  Fluent in English, French desirable
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
·  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight/demanding timelines 
·  Ability to think and act analytically
·  Creative problem-solver with a strong work ethic and attention to detail and accuracy
·  Strong aptitude in MS-Office and ability to learn new internal company software(s)
