Job description
MISSION :
The Assistant Product Manager will assist in the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives targeted to increase brand awareness and market share. Specific duties include:
· Produce monthly sales analysis reports to evaluate retailer, brand and product performance
· Assist in approving marketing materials (packaging development, product information booklets, signage etc.)
· Work closely with external vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time execution of marketing programs
· Perform competitive analysis including market trends
· Assist in preparation of customer line reviews and presentations
· Assist with the Management of Tradeshows and Consumer facing events
· Develop and execute merchandising programs with each retailer
· Liaise with PR agency to provide marketing material and assist with product requests
· Collaborate with strategic business units, other Groupe SEB subsidiaries as well as internal departments (sales, accounting, order entry etc.) on an on-going basis
· Aid in the development and execution of marketing plans to drive brand growth
Desired profile
PROFILE:
· Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) with 2 or 3 years experience in field of marketing.
· Fluent in English, French desirable.
· Strong aptitude in MS-Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel) and ability to learn new internal company software(s)
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight/demanding timelines
· Ability to multitask and work on different projects with short deadlines
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
· Ability to think and act analytically.
· Creative problem-solver with a strong work ethic and attention to detail and accuracy
