MISSION :

 

Provide support to the Groupe SEB Canada Business Controller with general analysis and reporting. Specific duties include:

·  Support completion and submission of regular reports within established timelines (budget, forecast, letter-of-month, etc.)
·  Provide sales and margin analysis to the sales and marketing teams
·  Provide gross to net sales analysis
·  Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by Business Controller or other departments;
·  Provide Consolidated Cost estimates for Marketing from GPS reporting system
·  Support Business Controller Profit Calculations/Profit simulator model
·  Assist Business Controller with analyses (gross margin, budget, expense, etc.)
·  Complete budget uploads into reporting system for sales and margin
·  In charge of month end accruals (commission, marketing, freight and storage)
·  Assist in providing training to non-financial users
·  Maintain and update documentation relating to internal controls over financial reporting
·  Sales Tax reconciliation and follow up on the Tax disputes
·  Main contact for the Notilus expense reports
·  In charge of Price list updates in SAP in coordination with Sales Administration dept
·  Assist with internal and external audits

PROFILE:  

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA is a preferred plus
·  5-8 years’ work experience, specifically including financial analysis and reporting in a multi-national for-profit consumer goods organization
·  Strong analytical skills and attentive to details
·  Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Sum If statements, advanced formulas (embedded if statements etc.) charts, linking spreadsheets, macros)
·  Familiarity with SAP – FICO module
·  Demonstrate expertise in business analysis and financial modeling
·  Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
