Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional or enthusiastic recent graduate who is interested in pursuing a career within sales. As a key member of our Soil & Drain team the objective of this role is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team to maximise sales project opportunities reporting to the Technical Sales Team Manager on a day to day basis.

Working closely with the Technical Advisory team, you will be intricate in the success of new business opportunity across Saint-Gobain PAM, which employs around 9000 people and generates annual sales of £1.2 billion in over 120 countries.

What will I be doing in the role?

In the role as Sales Coordinator you will;

·  Be intricate in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the external sales team
·  Assist the field sales team to successfully identify and manage sales project opportunities
·  Track the progress of a group of opportunities through regular communication with known and new contacts within the construction industry including consultants, contractors, and distributors
·  Maintain the London pipeline of key opportunities and ensure the status of these opportunities is always current
·  Use initiative to build a wide group of contacts within the supply chain and log them on the CRM system

·  Excellent communication skills and adept at rapport building when cold calling prospects.
·  The ability to build strong relationships through regular telephone contact.
·  Excellent time management
·  Strong IT skills with experience of using CRM systems
