Product & Sales Internship, FinTech/Finance Firm (Paid Internship)

Job description

Paid internship with a firm that creates complex financial models used by Asset Managers and Hedge Funds globally.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide analysis to foster decision making
• Assist in preparation of sales presentations and new client contracts
• Participate in the improvement of existing products and services
• Research and analyse several index-specific topics
• Collaborate on current projects
• Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
• Participate in marketing and product strategy conversations to provide marketing-based input through promotional items based on customer value
• Work with sales teams internally to ensure best practices are met, information is shared and distributed, and that industry knowledge is a constant part of the sales team’s resources

Desired profile

Our requirements:

• Available for internship of 3-12 months
• Available to start June 2018
• Must have a Bachelors (and preferably a Masters) degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar quantitative subject from a top university
• Basic knowledge of capital markets and financial products
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Customer focus and relationship building
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage time and projects efficiently
• Solid command of written and verbal English
• Must have legal right to work in UK/EU - sponsorship NOT available.
