Job Summary & Responsibilities

Consumer Finance Technology (CFT) is a new division within the firm focused on bringing state of the art Goldman technology to
the consumer market enabling a complete new line of business.  We are building a best of breed platform that is both elegant and
powerful meeting the needs of our clients seamlessly while allowing deep integration into our technical partners in the future.

We are looking for an expert web front end developer  to work on a greenfield enterprise-grade project delivered on desktop browser
and iOS platforms. This will be a large delivery that will be rolled out globally tied to specific business functionality.  Our goal in
engineering is to facilitate the creative, iterative, and data driven creation of our all digital retail bank. As a Front End Developer you
will be working closely with our marketing team and UX designers to build HTML/CSS/JS web experiences which will be A/B tested
for effectiveness and impact to our clients. The code you write will reach millions and help redefine the firm.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record leading the delivery of web application platforms using his/her knowledge
of Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework/methodologies.

The candidate will get to work with modern technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, RESTful web services, JavaScript libraries (e.g.
JQuery) and frameworks (e.g. React), and utilize them to build cutting edge software that will include advance visualizations of data.
They should also demonstrate knowledge and interest in the mobile ecosystem (both web and native paradigms).

Experience with web analytics software like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is preferred.  Knowledge of site tagging for effective measurement of site usage is also preferred.

They should be comfortable working with Agile processes, with an emphasis on writing good quality, easily testable code. They
should also be able to collaborate and contribute estimates to the planning process.

Knowledge of Consumer Finance is not essential but experience in any of these areas may provide a candidate with some
advantage.

Clear verbal and written communication skills will be crucial since the candidate must be able to gather requirements as well as
influence and gain consensus for their designs with the global technology team.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor in Software Engineer, Computer Science, or the equivalent in demonstrable work experience
• 1-5 years of front end web development experience.
• Experience with Adobe Analytics and DTM, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React, Angular, jQuery)
• Knowledge of MVC pattern
• An appreciation of design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple JS frameworks
• Programmed games in HTML5
• Knows the strengths and weaknesses of VanillaJS
• Knowledge of the Linux command line including git
• Active on CodePen, Github, or StackOverflow
