Are you passionate about sales and leveraging a leading global commodities platform to deliver risk management and financing solutions to your clients? We are looking for a professional to join our commodities sales team in Singapore who wants to use their sales and risk management skills to deliver financing and risk management solutions to corporate clients with exposure to commodities.

The Global Commodities business is head quartered in New York with trading hubs in London and Singapore.

We provide full service commodity risk management and financing services, covering sectors such as oil, refined products, natural gas, power, bulk commodities, metals and agricultural products for governments, corporations, investors and financial institutions worldwide,
Our international teams offer superior expertise across derivative and physical products, world-class block trading and leading Commodities research through the firm’s Global Investment Research division.

The Singapore team focuses on corporate clients in Asia Pacific for originating flow and strategic commodity price risk management and commodity-linked financing opportunities – primarily from corporate clients that have exposure to commodity prices.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Structure and price commodity derivatives transactions while factoring in credit risk and market risk considerations
• Strong financial modeling background is needed to evaluate financial models, evaluate performance and analyzing impact of different capital structures and commodity price risk management tools
• Evaluation of financial health of target entities via review of financial statements and enterprise valuation
• Preparing pitch books, presentation materials for client meetings and you will be involved in origination of deals from pitching to closing stages
• Be involved in origination, structuring, and execution commodity linked financing and strategic risk management transactions
• Managing transaction execution process with active stakeholder management and liaise with different internal teams – both advisory coverage teams as well as control functions

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with –3 -8 years of experience with the commodities sector
• Strong work ethic and excellent attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
• Analytical and having basic finance knowledge
• Strong problem-solving and co-ordination skills and detail oriented
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint

Preferred Qualifications
• Investment Banking experience in the natural resources sector
• Experience with commodity price derivatives for corporate clients, preferably Asian clients
• Results-oriented -- ability to balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a longer term, strategic focus
