Role Summary/Purpose

The Commercial Leadership Programme is a world renown, intensive training program designed to produce sales professionals and future leaders across the GE Healthcare business. In addition to sales skills and product training, CLPs will also have the opportunity to develop across multiple other areas including operations, finance, strategic planning and marketing, varying based on assignments and business needs.
Essential Responsibilities

As you progress through the programme, you will have frequent evaluation sessions to help you progress in your career and determine your proficiencies using an established competency model, as well as receiving constant coaching and guidance. Following a successful term in the Commercial Leadership Programme, there will be a focus on structuring your career by encouraging you to pursue opportunities within GE with a permanent role being offered at the end of the programme based on your strengths and experience. The Commercial Leadership Programme is a great opportunity to develop a solid base of skills and knowledge that should lead into a successful Business Development career. The programme will involve four separate rotations and job functions across a two-year timeframe. This means that your day-to-day responsibilities will vary over the two years, and will provide you with flexibility to be involved with a range of projects.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  A strong academic background, ideally with a degree, with strong relevant previous work experience

·  The successful applicant will have some commercial experience in Sales/ Customer Service positions and will display the key competencies necessary to be successful in the commercial environment

·  You must have an interest in Sales and Marketing along with having the drive and determination to promote growth and market share in an ever evolving market place.

·  Demonstrate the early Leadership attributes by displaying, confidence, and presence, listening & influencing skills

·  Willingness to show autonomy to take on responsibility within role, demonstrating keen networking skills

·  Experience in creative problem solving during professional/academic endeavours
