Essential Responsibilities
As the Toolroom Associate you will:
· Ability to work effectively under supervised direction
· Performs Shipping and Receiving functions as required
· Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
· Willing to work overtime as required
· Works in compliance with all company policies and procedures
· Ability to pass background check and drug screening
· Ability to pass all EHS courses and course requirements
· Operate cranes, forklifts, & pallet jacks as required
· Operate simple machine tools as required (Grinders/drill press/etc)
· Inventories, stores, and preps tools and equipment
Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability and willingness to stand, walk, climb, and reach with hands and arms
· Capable of lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs
· May require working in confined spaces
· Able to work in a variety of outside and inside environments
Desired Characteristics
· Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary quality and customer service
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
· Ability to work independently & to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard acceptable practices
· Proficient using MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook on laptop computers
· Basic knowledge of machining and welding processes
· Ability to use precision tools including but not limited to outside and inside micrometers, bore, gauges, depth gauges, dial indicators, and measuring scales preferred
· Fork Truck and Overhead Crane experience
