Role Summary/Purpose

The Systems Software Verification Test Engineer will be a key member of a team of software test engineers who carry out all activities within the software test life cycle including: developing, maintaining, and executing test cases in our lab. Here’s your opportunity to apply your skills and join an expanding product development team in the Patient Monitoring business.
Essential Responsibilities

• Develop test cases to cover requirements specifications
• Execute test cases in adherence to the management system
• Review of test cases and review Test Input documents, plus analyze requirements to test case coverage
• Review verification results looking for to our management system
• Work closely with design engineering team members to reproduce issues
Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related degree
2. Minimum of 3 years of engineering work experience in a related field
3. Demonstrated experience in software testing, methodology/processes
4. Demonstrated understanding of system design concepts and subsystem interactions and interfaces
5. Effective oral and written communication skills

U.S. (Country) Specific Qualifications:
1. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time without sponsorship at time of hire
2. Must be willing to work in our Milwaukee, WI facility full-time

5. Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
Desired Characteristics

1. Master’s degree in Computer Science or other closely related engineering degree
2. 4+ years of engineering experience in positions of increased responsibility
3. Demonstrated problem troubleshooting and analysis to provide repeatability
4. Self-starter, energizing, and able to multi-task
5. Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills
6. Demonstrated ability to balance multiple program priorities while meeting critical commitments
7. Experience testing products with global team members
8. Knowledge of DOORs and Electronic Documentation Management
9. Previous experience in an FDA regulated environment
