Role Summary/Purpose

The Staff Technical Product Manager is a key role within the Digital Thread Technical Product Management Team. This role will partner with the Engineering function to understand the business process, needs & capabilities of product design utilizing model based enterprise principles to deliver next generation technology solutions. The individual will also partner with the function to drive cultural organizational change in transitioning to a Digital Product across the value chain.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Assume the role as a Subject Matter Expert for MCAD tools and their corresponding processes

·  Provide thought leadership and deliver next generation capabilities in model based enterprise solutions, enabling the Digital Product

·  Lead business process sessions to determine scope and develop functional requirement specifications/user stories

·  Drive and instruct the product development and testing teams utilizing Agile framework methodologies

·  Apply cross-functional knowledge of Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and Supplier processes, to deliver solutions that will drive business benefits around lowering product cost and NPI cycle-time, while improving overall product quality

·  Contribute to the development of the prioritized product roadmap

·  Manage the user backlog, lead sprint planning and provide functional user stories acceptance

·  Seek, share and institutionalize best practices related to usage of MCAD/PLM tool sets within the MBE framework

·  Partner with functional leaders to help drive adoption and deployment to achieve business value realization
Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Three-plus years relevant work experience

·  Solid knowledge of MCAD design tools

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
Desired Characteristics

·  Past Business Analyst or Product Owner experience

·  Experience or knowledge in Model Based Definition/Enterprise principles

·  Working knowledge of QMS including Design Controls

·  Experience in Agile methodology framework

·  Demonstrated ability to work in global, virtual teams

·  Experience in facilitating business process sessions

·  Experience in cross functional team communications, influencing skills and ability to gain buy-in for initiatives

·  Experience in use of Creo, Windchill, Enovia (MWS) and/or Agile PLM

·  Familiarity with 3D technologies including aPriori, DFMPro, and CADIQ
