Role Summary/Purpose

The Staff Engineer / Technologist demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop design and manufacturing processes focused on advanced Additive heat exchanger component and system designs that meet business needs across the organization. You will also manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Execute and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of advanced Additive heat exchanger designs and assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements

·  Lead business initiatives in Additive design, materials, manufacturing, quality and/or productivity

·  Define and develop product processes related to design, analysis, test, materials, manufacture, quality and/or productivity

·  Identify need for technical and program reviews within the organization

·  Lead technical reviews and participate as a reviewer

·  Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate

·  Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

·  Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules and contract commitments

·  Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university or college

·  A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering position

·  Design experience with Additive Manufacturing and heat exchanger component and/or system designs

·  Ability to guide and influence others

·  In-depth understanding of engineering technology and tools

·  Strong written and oral communication skills

·  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
