Role Summary/Purpose

As a Full Stack Java developer, the individual drives increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse at a organization portfolio level. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. identifies issues blocking development and ensure timely resolution. Leads the technical implementation across multiple digital applications focusing on voice and call center integration and API technology.
Essential Responsibilities

• Support and improve our tools for continuous build, automated testing and release management
• Make technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact
• Profile build process and identifies bottlenecks
• Serve as a key leader in the organization to define technical solutions
• Work directly with development teams to resolve issues and keep projects on-track
• Lead implementation of a DevOps model to ensure quality solutions across projects and support
• Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project
• Help businesses develop an overall strategy for deploying code. Contribute to planning and strategy with his/her ideas. Draw off experience in order to influence others
• Be expert at applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
• Be able to document procedures for building and deploying development artifacts as individual components or part of an enterprise code base
• Strong Java development experience, full stack on java script and java procedures with API (Spring Boot) integration
• Extensive knowledge of Avaya Experience Portal and hands-on AAOD development of Contact Center IVR applications and call flows
• Extensive knowledge of Avaya Vectoring, VDN’s and CTI routing
• Extensive Avaya Aura Contact Center experience
• Extensive Avaya Application Enablement Services experience
• Avaya CMS experience
• Understanding of PBX and back end integrations
• Nuance IVR development experience is desired
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in large scale, distributed software development OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD with 3 years of experience.
• GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed

• Record of successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation in software delivery processes
• Expert level skills in integration architecture and Authentication –API’s
• Working knowledge in Java script ( React, Angular, Polymer)
• Skilled in Java – Spring Boot
• Skilled in web architecture and components – Tomcat, Apache, AWS cloud services
• Deep understanding of Avaya, voice technology and call center process
