Role Summary/Purpose
Primary Focus: Creating stable software development system: Implementing consistent and effective execution of Scrum Practices. The Scrum Master’s sphere of influence is to reach out into the business in order to implement Agile team practices to most effectively work as an Agile delivery lead and how to interact with their product owners
Essential Responsibilities
Creating stable software development system: Collaborating with team on consistent and effective execution of Scrum Practices. The Agile Leader’s sphere of influence is to reach out into the business in order to work with product team members to effectively apply agile practices. Collaborate with Agile team members to effectively execute Scrum ceremonies through Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Daily Standups. Coach teams on Lean principles through the effective use of Kanban principles such as flow and Work in Process limits. Coach teams on how decompose requirements (BGOs) into User Stories using techniques such as User Story Mapping. Influence: Scrum Teams. Fundamentals: Scrum, Project Inception, Meeting Facilitation, Lean and Kanban.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Guiding the team and organization on usage of Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
• Collaborating with team on consistent and effective execution of Scrum Practices. The Agile Leader’s sphere of influence is to reach out into the business in order to work with product team members to effectively apply agile practices.
• Collaborate with Agile team members to effectively execute Scrum ceremonies through Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Daily Standups.
• Implement Lean principles through the effective use of Kanban principles such as flow and Work in Process limits.
• Ensure scrum team decompose requirements into User Stories using techniques such as User Story Mapping. Influence: Scrum Teams. Fundamentals: Scrum, Project Inception, Meeting Facilitation, Lean and Kanban.
Desired Characteristics
• Minimum 3 years' experience of leading global Scrum Teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
• Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
• Minimum three years IT programs development or design experience or equivalent
