Role Summary/Purpose

The Security Systems Leader is responsible for the management of all Security access control, CCTV, and dedicated alarm systems on a global spectrum. These responsibilities include the development, communication and execution of system strategies which ensure that systems are reliable, efficient and cost effective.

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Facility Commander Wnx and Lenel Genetec and CCTV Operations globally.
• Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting problems with end user security management system workstations globally.
• Responsible for global access badge operations
• Acts as the department representative interacting with contractors for repair, maintenance and upgrade of all access, CCTV and alarm systems
• Orders and manages badge supplies for the global badge operation
• Responsible for the maintenance and operational control of the corporate security access systems and standards at all GE Healthcare sites with the standard security system.
• Provides support to ensure adherence to the GE standards of all ID and Access operations across the Global Platform.
• Serves as the department's trainer for all users of the security management system, CCTV, and alarm systems.
• Effects system cost savings, monitors and troubleshoots problems with client workstations (all locations), manages the install of system upgrades and installs computer program patches to insure continuity of operations at all locations

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
4. Knowledge of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedures and operates within them to ensure that all purchased services conform to specified requirements.
5. Knowledge of GE Corporate Real Estate Procedures & Policies and operate within them to ensure that all leases & related documents are in compliance.
6. Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Work Instructions relevant to facilities design, repair, and maintenance and operates within them to ensure conform to the specified requirements.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

1. Masters Degree
2. Genetec system experience/certification
3. Blackbelt Certified
4. Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills

6. Strong communication skills, verbal and written
7. Proven ability to be a successful change agent

Desired profile

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
• 3 years experience in Security Systems and Controls
• Experience with Facility Commander Wnx and Lenel, Genetec security management system platforms
• Experience with CCTV Operations to include IP/Analog cameras, DVR, NVR and VMS Operations and troubleshooting
• Experience with the design, implementation and management of access control, CCTV and intrusion detection systems
