Role Summary/Purpose

GE Grid Solutions are offering a fantastic opportunity for driven students with a keen interest in Software to gain valuable on the job experience with a 3 month internship. Working at our Cambridge software site assisting with the development and maintenance of GIS software in a global application aimed at the Utilities and telecommunication market. Also to work on new application delivery in Cloud-based web/service delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

• To work in Agile software team assisting with the development of the Asset Management GIS software product portfolio.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Studying for Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics degree with a passion for computer programming and the area of software development or equivalent knowledge and experience.
