Role Summary/Purpose

You will be a key member in building modern web application platform and components to allow visualization of analytics and large scale data on the cloud.
GE’s cloud offerings allow real time acquisition and analytics on petabytes of data from customer assets using IOT sensors. We allow analytics to predict the asset’s health, prevent unplanned down time by identifying potential failures and optimize performance that results in a direct improvement to customer’s bottom-line.
Essential Responsibilities

•Work in an agile team and build UI frameworks, reusable components and modern web applications for IOT applications on the cloud
•Work with multiple stake holders such as architects, product managers, UX and build engineers to deliver high quality scalable software
•Own product or product modules and design, develop and maintain the same.
• Participate in design and peer code reviews. Come up with ideas for product improvement and communicate the same to the stake holders.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience
Desired Characteristics

• Web application design and exposure to micro service development experience.
• Hands on experience in web develppment framework in as Angular2/4, HTML5/CSS3/LESS/SASS, Typescript
• Hands on experience in micro services development in Node.js is an added advantage
• Exposure to building web application frameworks is an added advantage
