Role Summary/Purpose

Frontend Software Engineer & Developer is responsible for development of powerful and user-friendly web based applications. This involves working closely with UX experts, analysts and backend developers to implement the server-side code that supports web interfaces.
Essential Responsibilities

• Development of cross-browser Web GUIs and required system logic for the Predix cloud platform;
• Participate in planning and implementation of development sprints;
• Store and visualize data flows w/ of Predix.io services;
• Implement unit, component and end-to-end integration auto-tests for GUI;
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math);
·  A minimum of 2-year experience as UI developer.
·  Fluent Russian language skills. Upper-intermediate English is required.
Technical Expertise:

·  Strong knowledge of modern ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS;
·  Development experience in Python 3.X for Web (Django, Flask, Tornado) or Java (SE) + Spring;
·  Good knowledge of UX design methods and techniques;
·  Basic understanding of microservices or SOA, GoF design patterns, REST services, OAuth 2.0;
·  Unit and integration testing techniques, selenium/cucumber;
·  Good user of Linux, bash, maven, git, jira, confluence.
