Essential Responsibilities
· Key contributor as part of a small team of dedicated developers working on desktop HMI applications & a web-based factory management platform
· Develop enterprise grade front-end interfaces and back-end systems
· Develop secure NoSQL data systems / pipelines
· Develop, document and execute software Q/A procedures
· Develop technical & functional requirements based on internal & external customers
· Act as a participant and reviewer in code reviews
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering). Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Software Development (including Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins; Experience developing websocket and REST APIs).
Desired Characteristics
· Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
· Experience with at least 1 front-end Javascript framework (React, Vue, Angular)
· Expertise in at least 1 of the following languages: C/C++/C#, Python, GO, NodeJS
· Understanding of basic data encryption methods
· Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure
· Demonstrated experience with at least one of the following databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
· Understanding of distributed systems & microservice architectures
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Experience with Kubernetes
· Interest in UI / UX development
· Experience deploying software via a CI / CD pipeline on cloud infrastructure
