Role Summary/Purpose

You will be responsible for the feature development in a scrum team working on market leading medical visualization products. You will contribute to the scrum team as a developer, you will be responsible for designing, programming and testing a set of features.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Have the ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using discretion to seek help when necessary

·  Demonstrate the ability to help team members through pair programming and code reviews

·  Demonstrate awareness about product positioning and differentiations

·  Have the ability to evaluate basic technology choices and articulate tradeoffs 

·  Apply principles of SDLC and Lean/Agile/XP/TDD/CI/CD methodologies to deliver high quality, secured, and scalable software modules

·  Skilled in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

·  Skilled in core data structures and algorithms and implements them using language of choice

·  Break down problems and estimate time for development tasks

·  Show great customer focus, support and infrastructure services in troubleshooting customer

·  Assess application performance and optimize it through design and best coding practices
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent knowledge/experience

·  Minimum strong professional experience

·  Technical knowledge in Java or other object-oriented languages (GO language would be a plus as well)
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
