Role Summary/Purpose
GE is looking to recruit a Webmethods Software Architect to join its team based in Cheltenham
Essential Responsibilities
• Serve as WebMethods developer on an Oracle ERP Integrations agile scrum team responsible for technical deliverables in agile sprints
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – both technical & functional
• Ability to communicate in a language that non-technical users can understand
• Strong problem solving skills.
• demostrable experience developing in Software AG Webmethods
• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) including concepts such as Service Registries & Service Virtualization
• Java programming experience
• Understanding of a variety of communication methods/protocols (JDBC, SOAP, REST)
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) or equivalent
Desired Characteristics
• Experience with Trading Networks (TN), Business Process Monitor (BPM) and Composite Application Framework (CAF)
• Experience working in Agile development environment
• Ability to build positive and professional business relationships with internal and external clients.
• Ability to work independently
• Relational database design & SQL/PLSQL
