Essential Responsibilities:
• As Services Software Specialist in our Digital Implementation Services team, you will be responsible for working on software fulfilment projects from our end customer.
• Responsibilities include understanding project’s requirements, performing fit gap analysis, proposing software solution, and implementing same using software development methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
• As Services Specialist, you will demonstrate understanding of core data structures and algorithms and have the ability to implement them using language of choice in your projects.
• As a Services Specialist, you will be writing code using computer programming languages that meets standards and delivers desired performance & functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• This role includes active customer engagement where you will be taking part in workshops, meetings ( face to face or tele-presence), site visits. As a services Specialist, you are expected to create ‘customer delight’ by showing preparedness in meetings, prompt communication, on time delivery, in budgeted resources.
Qualifications/Requirements:
For roles outside USA:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 3-5 years
Desired characteristics:
Comfortable in building features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.
Should have technical skill set C# .Net, VB.Net, JavaScript, APIs
Aware of DBMS methodologies such as SQL, Oracle, and database administration
Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
