Role Summary/Purpose

Partner with global product engineering teams to test and deploy new products and maintain appropriate level of support for the AW customers and field service teams. Design and optimize system requirements and verify execution from concept to operation. This role requires strong systems operations skillset and ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Share responsibilities of Advantage Workstation installed base support and new product introduction activities for all core AW hardware and associated software applications

·  Provide support and guidance on system design activities using proven technologies and methods

·  Communicate across direct organization in specific technical space, and with cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy

·  Participate in cross-functional project teams to deliver technology solutions for the business

·  Responsible for maintaining relevant vendor and OEM relationships

·  Support product and software licensing tools and process

·  Facilitate collection of customer data and configuration files in support of installed base tracking and usage analytics

·  Lead the transition of physical software demo process to a virtualized process

·  Define requirements and facilitate the process development for electronic software delivery

·  Manage the setup and maintenance of a pool of Advantage Workstations (AW) and AW servers used for customer demonstrations, trade shows, and training forums. Process equipment according to compliant procedures and keep accurate records of all equipment transactions

·  Manage ad hoc requests as required

·  Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this role

·  Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

·  Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

·  Knowledge and understanding of relevant GEHC Procedures to ensure that compliance requirements are met

·  Demonstrated software installation skills and ability to logically troubleshoot to system level, sometimes remotely
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, and 4 years relevant work experience

·  At least 3 years of experience of Linux commands, Microsoft operating systems, networking, and digital connectivity

Eligibility requirements

·  Ability to lift significant weight throughout the workday, mobility to pack and move boxes/crates

·  Ability to travel periodically, and work week-end hours if required for setup, support, and teardown of trade shows and training sessions

·  Position is in Waukesha, WI

·  Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with limited direction and information

·  Previous exposure to AW workstations, servers, and product software

·  Familiar with medical imaging systems and clinical applications
