Role Summary/Purpose
The Lead SCADA Engineer acts as primary technical interface with Service Engineering, FRO and Site teams for New Units project execution, for CM&U’s executions and for fleet support. He/she will have a strong focus on ECO SCADA related tasks and requests.
Essential Responsibilities
Ensure Engineering fulfillment of all SCADA related tasks:
· Execute new units projects and CM&U’s complying with the contractual requirements
· Support Service Engineering in tender phase for new opportunities (CM&U’s)
· Improve SCADA applicative SW packages by fixing reported bugs and implementing solutions to reach higher efficiency
· Maintain and update/customize SCADA WF software packages and databases as per project requirements
· Provide technical and troubleshooting support for site installation & commissioning of the SCADA system
· Provide technical and troubleshooting support to FRO and to any other internal and external customer
· Create project and product documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Master Degree, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in electrical, electronic or computer engineering sciences or equivalent
knowledge or work experience
· Solid working experience in Wind Energy and SCADA infrastructure and SW applications
· Proficient in SQL databases development and maintenance, data analysis and report generation
· Proficient in SW analytics, codification and debugging
· Experience in data acquisition, OPC, MODBUS, etc.…
· Experience in web development
· Strong analytical skills
· Strong interpersonal communication skills
· Fluent in English
· Availability to travel to customer and global GE sites
· EU Work Permit
