Role Summary/Purpose

Based in Cambridge We are looking for an experienced software developer to take a major role in the onward development of our digital platform. Recently launched, my.Cryochain is a powerful web application for managing all aspects of the regenerative medicine cryogenic cold chain.
Essential Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:
• Have significant responsibility for the architecture, design and implementation of our web application
• Work on the full stack as well as our deployment and development tools
• Help grow the solution by identifying, prioritizing and implementing significant new features on a quarterly release cycle
• Have a strong focus on maintaining system security and high availability as the application plays an important part in the delivery of advanced medicines
Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience working with Ruby on Rails on commercial, customer-facing projects
• Strong foundation in Object-Orientated Programming (OOP)
• Experience designing and deploying scalable, high availability cloud infrastructure (using AWS)
• Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins)
• Familiarity with Agile project management techniques
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• jQuery and SASS experience
• PostgreSQL
• Data analytics
• Experience designing secure web applications
• Exposure to CFR 21 Part 11 requirements
