Role Summary/Purpose

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for all Mechanical non-conformances/ corrective actions throughout the supply chain to support manufacturing in fulfilling the quality standards and requirements of the business and end customer.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Support all elements of the quality program and drives overall quality into the supply chain, by establishing internal processes required to provide high quality materials and services, monitors the results of those processes with internal and external customers, determines root cause of any non-conformances, and implements corrective actions.

·  Identify improvement projects and drive improvements across the supply chain, using, Lean, 5S, Shainin, Six Sigma etc.

·  Support the Purchasing team with raw materials coming in and qualification of Mechanical suppliers, ensuring supplier process capability is effective to meet BHGE requirements.

·  Conduct and support internal/ supplier audits/ qualifications as per BHGE QMS.

·  Support Technical services and Quality team closing out Customer Complaints.

·  Assist with NPI projects and in process changes.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience

·  Minimum proven experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
