Role Summary/Purpose

Driving product, process and system quality improvements. Overseeing and providing technical guidance to internal customers, team members and stakeholders. Direct quality support to dedicated product lines with objective to improve FTY and reduce losses. Support and ownership of dedicated actions supporting brilliant & digital factory.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Driving daily quality and inspection rhythm within production shop

·  Daily quality walks

·  Support and full assistance in root cause identification and in implementing corrective actions – ownership of QIP in production

·  Owner and guardant of process assurance in production shop for the assigned product line

·  Identification of opportunities for improvement

·  Chairing Material Review Board and driving resolution of nonconforming product for the assigned product line

·  Maintaining Daily Key Indicators on quality for the assigned product line

·  Driving continuous process an inspection improvements

·  Daily, weekly and monthly reports to shop leaders

·  Internal patrol, process, workstation and process audits

·  Definition of quality controls and inspection plans, defect visualization

·  Provide training on production quality and inspection
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Relevant technical education or degree with experience in Quality or equivalent

·  Proven experience in QC Engineering, Quality System Planning and Quality Improvement methods

·  Preferred previous experience of working under EASA Part 21G approval

Desired Characteristics

·  Knowledge of composite layup and cure / machining /assembly, NDT, Metrology, Auditing, Root cause analysis

·  Experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality is preferred

·  Experience working directly with other business function such design, manufacturing engineering, supplier management

·  Six Sigma trained or certification preferred (GE employees only)

·  Good presentation skills

·  Strong customer focus and understanding of customer needs

·  Responsible and accountable for meeting products quality needs as well as influencing other product team members

·  Good oral and written communication skills

·  Good interpersonal and team skills

·  Excellent ability to work with digital tools and data

·  Ability to influence others and lead small teams.

·  Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.

·  Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

·  Effective problem identification and solution skills.

·  Proven analytical and organizational ability.
