Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for designing, developing and testing software to create industrial internet products and services tailored to the needs of the GE businesses and external customers.

Essential Responsibilities

·  Perform unit testing on all software/applications developed by the team.
·  Design, develop and manage Software/ application comprehensive test procedures and test planning documents
·  Ensure that Quality processes are followed and that defects discovered during unit testing are fixed and retested before promoting to system testing.
·  Engineer and implement tests for software as required to augment the development team during surge periods.
·  Work closely with the team leads and technical leads, architects, systems engineers, database administrators, and other software engineers in developing and integrating software solutions into the Oil and Gas software baseline.
·  Develop and perform peer reviews of user manuals and other required documentation supporting the development life cycle.
·  Participate in Scrum meetings and sprint planning.

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications
·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
·  Minimum 3 years' experience with Windows operating system
·  Minimum 3 years' experience with software and/or hardware testing.
