Role Summary/Purpose

To inspect build components and build documents on site and off site locations, to ensure they are completed as per the build instructions and the inspection and test plan.

Essential Responsibilities

·  To be familiar with dimensional measurements and measuring tools.

·  To carry out PMI and hardness test operations as required.

·  To carry out Boroscope tasks as required.

·  To monitor and audit build documents.

·  The support the QC training and development plan.

·  To work as part of a small team within a busy QC department.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  The ability to use engineering measuring tools, Mics and Calipers.

·  The ability to understand technical drawings and documents.

·  Good communication skills both verbal and written.

·  A knowledge of report writing and the document review process.

·  A working knowledge of sub-sea systems in the Oil and Gas sector would be an advantage.

·  Full UK driving Licence.
