Role Summary/Purpose

Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).
Essential Responsibilities

·  - Lead Projects of new equipment investment
·  - Define investment and expense needs, driving from preparing for approvals to completion 
·  - Technical Interface with vendors on equipment Specifications
·  - Lead multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance
·  - Lead and effectively interface with operations, EHS and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget 
·  - Lead quick changeover projects. Participate in LEAN initiative, and using 6 sigma/Lean tools for process improvements
·  - Design necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing and for process improvements
·  - Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical/historical base for future reference and to meet customer/end user requirements
·  - Comply with company policy and process including but not limit in compliance, quality, production, EHS, HR & Admin, lean, etc.
·  - Other task assigned by organizational or functional supervisor(s).

Qualifications/Requirements

·  - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with mechanical or engineering major 
·  - At least 4 years of manufacturing/CNC machine experience 
·  - Fixture design experience 
·  - Familiar with CAD

·  - Corporate Training Program graduate (manufacturing/operations/engineering) is preferred (GE employees only)

·  - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills 
·  - Strong oral and written communication skills 
·  - Strong project and team leadership
