Role Summary/Purpose

The Process Engineer will report to the Senior Operation Management Staff Manager and will support the manufacturing process in various ways (programming, tooling, process, etc.)
Essential Responsibilities

In addition, as the Process Engineer, you will :

·  Define and control production process including tooling and equipment

·  Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or
equipment Program CNC machines

·  Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents
in the organization

·  Work together with business leadership (business leaders, plant leaders, etc.)

·  Specify needs, communicate about project approach and present outcomes of research
done

·  Work directly with production employees on cross functional teams

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR an Associates
Degree from an accredited school or institution with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a
manufacturing environment; OR a High School Diploma/ GED with a minimum of 4 years
experience in a manufacturing environment)

·  Minimum of 3 years of experience In manufacturing (including programming, processing,
CNC, machining and/or tooling)

Desired Characteristics

·  Previous experience working in a CNC machine shop

·  Previous experience machining rotating parts for jet engines
·  Strong oral and written communication skills

·  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

·  Ability to influence others and lead small teams

·  Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

·  Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

·  Effective problem identification and solution skills

·  Proven analytical and organizational ability
