Role Summary/Purpose

GE Digital's (GED) Customer Success’s APM CoE team has a deep APM product, process, and unique subject matter expertise which we use, in partnership with our Regional Delivery teams and Partners, to generate dramatic results for our Customers. Utilizing GE Digital’s APM software, cloud platforms and GED experts, we are revolutionizing the customer’s APM journey to make the global industrial world safer, more efficient, and more predictable.
Essential Responsibilities

The GE Digital APM CoE team focuses on the delivery of all GE Digital APM products by leveraging expert delivery teams. This individual will have a knowledge and understanding of FMEA and equipment strategies and will be able to provide customer guidance on changing preventative maintenance practices through the use of APM.

The Principal APM Consultant will actively participate in driving a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability within all Global delivery teams (GED, GE business units, & partners). In addition to driving the increased APM knowledge level of the GED teams, this individual will have the expertise to drive feedback to the product teams, transform GE Digital Customer Success organization to be APM Evangelists, create services APM release launch processes for all delivery groups, and minimize product escalations directly to Engineering.

In this role, you will

·  Place customer satisfaction at the center of everything you do, ensuring customers are super-pleased with our delivery of APM products.

·  Work directly with delivery teams and customers to help them leverage the latest software technology, data science, machine learning, and industry best practices to transform their industrial processes. Provide expert Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to Global delivery teams, that are resourced constrained and/or need OJT for SMEs.

·  Leverage the team's deep industrial expertise and APM product expertise to provide operational support to delivery teams and customers to ensure APM delivery excellence.

·  Drive and participate in a global team culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing, and open collaboration related to APM delivery

·  Leverage product management to quickly learn and master product functionality (and subsequent enhancements) and communicate changes to delivery teams. Work with Educational Services to create APM Delivery Release training for each quarterly release.

·  Quickly master cutting edge predictive analytics, asset management, and data science software and tools as needed to ensure project success.
Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s Degree (Master's preferred) in engineering or similar degree in science or technology

·  10 to 20 years of industry relevant work experience

·  Specific Software Experience in the Following Areas Desired: Meridium, SAP, Maximo, SmartSignal, Matlab, Maple, Vibration Analysis, System 1 / Emerson, SAS, Excel

Embraces uncertainty, isolates root causes and implement corrective actions to evolve long term organizational best practices.

·  Has demonstrable expertise and understanding of one or more APM products. Acts as a resource for others in solution design. Knows best practices which result in higher adoption of solutions based on product capabilities. Ability to communicate product capabilities internally and in customer facing situations.

Business Acumen:

·  Pioneers how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective. Knowledge of processes & tools critical to domain operations (e.g., regulations, standards, principles, etc.). Has practical hands on experience as well as academic knowledge on the subject.

·  Recognizes when a project miss requires an RCA (root cause analysis) and drives the solutions back into the APM products and processes for APM delivery.
