Role Summary/Purpose

The Pressure Product Repair Technician will be responsible for investigating and resolving customer returned units and contributing towards engineering issues with Druck pressure products. The successful candidate will be capable of diagnosing failures, obtaining technical information from customers and effecting quality repairs to a wide variety of instruments.
Essential Responsibilities

The role requires handling of multiple tasks and the ability to respond to changing priorities whilst setting and meeting customer expectations.

In the role of Pressure Product Repair Technician, you will:

·  Be responsible for rapid response to equipment failures

·  Be responsible for technical input into engineering investigations

·  Be responsible for Implementing repairs in priority order

·  Be responsible for scoping and progressing longer term solutions.

·  Be responsible for feedback of progress reports to customer service teams
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution and a minimum 4 years of experience in Services)

·  Minimum 2 years of experience in Services

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

·  Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

·  Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required

·  Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

·  Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
Desired Characteristics

·  Pressure / Electronic / Electrical / Barometric / Mechanical support experience

·  Technical knowledge of GE (Druck) product hardware

·  Proactive self-starter

·  Good problem solving skills

·  Understanding of a Service organisation

·  Basic experience/knowledge of electrical and electronics hardware

·  An understanding of pressure products

·  Planning and task management skills

·  Good communication skills

·  PC literate in Word and Excel, and an understanding of business tools such as SAP and Q Pulse would be advantageous
