Role Summary/Purpose

For LED Lamp Technology
Essential Responsibilities

Lead resources on design and qualification of electronic driver for LED lamps/fixture from concept design till mass production per new product introduction process. 
Work with system teams on defining product system specifications, design trade off, validation test, product & Process Qualification.
Select proper driver circuit topology, components, PCB layout etc. per application.
Validate driver options and analyze electronics failures and implement the corrective actions.
Work with sourcing, quality and suppliers to ensure product cost, manufacturabilities and quality.
Understand electrical product safety and performance regulation/standards (UL/CE/ANSI…) and apply to product design.
Conduct technical review and clear illustration of driver design effectiveness with circuit operation principle and simulation tool, test results etc. Document patents and design details into GE documentation system
Effective communication with local and global teams during program execution. Proactively manage technical risks and communicates to stakeholders
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor degree above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related
Solid practical experience on power electronics and proficient in using CAD design/simulation. In-depth knowledge of product reliability and manufacturabilities
3+ years experience in designing power products and launching into mass production.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, Good verbal and written English, CET4 above. Be adaptive to conference call during night time with global teams.
Knowledge and experience in intelligent control or Six sigma knowledge is a plus
Able to manage and prioritize complicated tasks. Project management experience and skills are plus.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently on extended assignments. Excellent team player. Quick learner and keen problem solver
