Job Description Summary

In this function, the position holder has a GSI CE Region mission across Product Lines in the region: HVDC, FACTS, ACS and Service.
She/he is responsible to work together with Region PMO & Risk Leader to implement & maintain project management/Risk Management processes & tools, to monitor or/and support the project cycle governance and support project managers and other project functions when needed. The mission, as a part of PMO, shall work, towards SQDC aspects, supporting project execution and sales recognition, on time deliveries, profitability & optimized cash flow for the company.

Position in the Organisation

Due to the mission, the position holder has a very transverse communication flow involving various stakeholders within company e.g. Project Directors / Project Managers, and various teams (*) within “project execution” communities.
(*) notably Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, Project Control, Project Finance & FP&A, Contract Mgt, Risk Mgt, Quality

Job Description

You will drive Operational Excellence to deliver turnkey projects on safety standards, aligned to quality, time & budget (SQDC principles) and ensure GSI CE Competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

· 
Promote Safety culture and share Safety Moments. 

· 
Ensure NC’s & CoPQ’s are reported or resolved in a timely manner.

· 
Participate or conduct Genba walks and process/project audits. 

· 
Comply with procedures, work instructions and processes that are on BMS. 

· 
Support and Challenge Lesson Learned implementation.  

· 
Implement lean Project Operating Rhythms & Governance 

· 
Support overall application of project review governance cycle. 

· 
Ensure all projects as per Region DOA are reviewed with full coverage. 

· 
Ensure COT projects reviews are conducted across the region with focus to collection of retentions and Bonds & with focus to the operational and financial performance monitoring of those projects in close out phase.

· 
Be Gate Keeper of Processes and Tools 

· 
Ensure Project Management Handbook (PMH) methods & guidelines are implemented and respected. 

· 
Ensure Risk & Opportunity registers are properly filled in Unifier.

· 
Ensure Unifier update and follow missing information with the PM Team (Gate Reviews, Key Milestones, BDR/COPQ process, Delay Event Record …).

· 
Formalize a PD/PM onboarding process in terms of Tools and Processes

· 
Support strategy and Risk Management 

· 
Participate to the Risks Reviews of all MJA (major attention) and L&C (large and complex) projects and make part of provision strategy decision.

· 
Follow up with PD/PM team the risk/opp assessment & mitigation plan.

· 
Contribute to lesson learned process, promote them back to the ITO and across the OTR teams.

· 
Ensure quarterly LD process follow up and mitigation plan.

· 
Set up OPS KPIs dashboard & actions

· 
Drive Projects KPIs Dashboard Governance (monitor & follow action plans)

· 
Drive Utilization Dashboard Governance (monitor & follow action plans)

· 
Drive Schedule adherence (Efficiency) Dashboard Governance (monitor & follow action plans)

· 
Drive Transformation and Simplification 

· 
Support the Implementation & maintenance of Project Management processes & tools in the Region in collaboration with other functions.

· 
Pro-actively propose improvements of processes & tools to the GSI HQ team based on users feedback.

· 
Provide or/and organize trainings / assistance as required.

· 
Promoting best practices and tools for projects execution.

· 
Be a key user of certain project management tools in the Region.

· 
Participate in some Lean initiatives and drive some Lean actions
