Role Summary/Purpose

Here’s your opportunity to join the Ultrasound team. This person will be responsible for executing fulfillment activities for the Ultrasound make and distribution center. This role will communicate the status of orders to downstream customers, as well as communicate to the operations team regarding customer prioritizations. This position is responsible for executing the various transactions which enable the manufacturing team to complete and ship orders to customers.
Essential Responsibilities

• Execute order management: segregate and process orders against material availability using Oracle
• Perform order fulfillment activities in Oracle
• Work with operations to understand capabilities and restraints and then communicate commits and statuses to customers
• Coordinate with on-site and/or off-site warehousing facilities for order prioritization and material allocation
• Work with appropriate materials and production team members to prioritize part shortages
• Discuss improvement ideas for processes, procedures and ways of working with other functions and teams
• Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or fork lifts
• Comply with all EHS and Quality System regulations and policies
• Read and follow work instructions and bills of materials
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements

• High school Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Demonstrated communications skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Basic Microsoft computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift materials weighing 50 pounds or less
• Ability to work both “in week” and weekend overtime based on business needs

1. Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concession, Non-Conforming Material, Material Identification & Segregation, Documentation Configuration Control, Good Documentation Practices, & DMR/DHR requirements as associated with this job type/position.
2. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
3. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
4. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

6. You must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process
7. You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
8. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without work sponsorship at the time of hire
9. Must be willing to work in our Wauwatosa, WI facility full time

Desired Characteristics

1. Associates or Bachelors degree in related field
2. 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced high volume manufacturing or warehouse
3. 2+ years of experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment
4. Working knowledge of Oracle
5. Attention to detail and ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments
6. Takes ownership and accountability for work decisions/results using strong organizational and analytical skills
7. Previous experience with medical device manufacturing, especially of Ultrasound products
