Job Description Summary
A solid technical experience is required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and support field services engineering. Accountable for the EHS & quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understanding of safety importance at site Perform LOTO operations according to GE & Customer safety regulations
- Understand the site safety, quality, and productivity to implement all GE EHS rules for continuous improvement
- Hands on work experience E&C of 66, 220 & 400 KV GIS substation
- Knowledge of GIS & AIS switch gears, electrical panels
- Perform troubling shooting and repair of electrical live substations etc.
- Understanding and executing the repairing & preventive maintenance
- Able to read the electrical and mechanical drawings and diagnosis the issues in equipment
- Perform scheduled of preventative maintenance of substations
- Maintaining back-office reporting, test reports and maintaining customer documentations at site
- Co-coordination with OEM (factories) for unsolved repair problems NC
- Provide technical assistance as needed for the installation or pre-arrangement of projects
- Performed all duties as part of a team or as site lead to allocate the responsibilities to site team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering fields such as electrical or electrical electronics
- Min 3 years of experience in the grid service area
- Good knowledge of grid system and equipment
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Proficiency Arabic speaking is preferable
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
