Role Summary/Purpose

In this role you will be part of the new formed GE Installation Team within the Field Operations NPI (New Product Introduction) Team for Projects Europe. You will be responsible to perform installation of new turbines, implementation of tools, processes and documentation in the field operations organization across the globe, with focus on the EMEA.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Lead, oversee and especially execute all mechanical and electrical installations steps to gain and share the process knowledge within GE field operations
·  Measurement, validation and review of all field operations for cost out, productivity and constructability improvements
·  This includes development of new field execution strategies
·  Develop, review and establish quality standards as required by company policy including full documentation package (GE Box, JSB, WDI, Installation Manual, dPro, Service Now etc.) for NPI topics
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, PM, EHS, external customers and other functions  
·  Perform, instruct and ensure EHS processes
Facilitate on the job trainings (OJT) for GE employees, customers and subcontractors 
·  Role model attitude to foster company culture on site 
·  In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities the future job holder will be flexible and willing to act as an Installation Lead or Site 
·  Lead during on standard projects during the absence of the assigned project team
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Completed professional education in mechanics-, or electro technology or equivalent knowledge / experience with proven work experience or proven track record in the wind business, preferred in field operations
·  Physical fitness to execute installation at remote sites in adverse weather conditions 
·  Very good communication and knowledge sharing skills 
·  Analytic skills regarding new technical tasks and processes 
·  Assertive behavior
English fluency, particularly with technical explanations 
·  Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (~90%) 
·  Medical capability for working at heights (e.g. G41 / G35) 
·   Valid/clean driving license (EU class B) 
·  Unrestricted EU work permit If contracted in Spain:

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.

·  Funded knowledge and experience in Quality processes and documentation 
·  EHS Advocate; detailed knowledge about EHS & Safety regulations
