Role Summary/Purpose

A Network Solutions Intern is responsible for the administration of the VPN infrastructure and Network Operations Center Environment within one of the GEHC businesses/modalities.
Essential Responsibilities

• Facilitating connectivity to customer sites including; back office, Connectivity DB and process flow. 

• Focused on Implementations - requires to work with the Customer IT representative for scheduling and implementation. 
• Working with GEHC IT and or OEM vendors when applicable for problem resolution. 
• Contributing as a member of a Remote On-line team to provide 7 x 24 support to GEHC Customers.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Associates degree in Information Technology or 4-5 year student of university technical domain or a High School Diploma. 
• Demonstrated strong networking skills including understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, Routing&Switching Concepts and Public Key Infrastructure Concepts, VPN technologies including IPSec implementation. 
• Ability to communicate effectively in local language and using wtitten English, read English technical-focused documentation. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Understanding of IT and Personal Data security regulation in Russia. 
Experience in management and support of network equipment of Russian vendors (Trademarks Continent, VipNet etc). 
Management of UNIX (Solaris and RedHat). 
Experience with scripting (Unix Shell, Windows batch). 
Customer interaction skills. 
Previous Customer Service Experience. 
IT industry experience in a hospital environment, understanding of Dicom, HL7.
