Role Summary/Purpose
This role will be responsible to perform purchasing activities related to the provision of spare parts of aircraft engine material (mainly on engines) in the most efficient and economical manner.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Assessment of understock and monitoring of parts consumption trend.
2. Responsible for planning of known material requirements.
3. Carry out the purchasing activities for parts that have been approved for buying.
4. Monitor and expedite high priority orders.
5. Action on material requirements or reports and users feedback such as repair delays, discrepancy reports, modification special inspections etc.
6. Vendor performance reporting.
7. Liaise with Production Control on work in progress for materials shortages.
Qualifications/Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in accredited university or college
•Must be good with Microsoft Excel, MS Word.
•Good verbal and written English and Malay.
•Able to articulate ideas / thoughts clearly to all working levels.
•Ability to understand technical documents
•Experience in procurement and sourcing
