Job Description:

Material Handler

Position Overview

Performs the necessary material receiving, storage, picking, delivery and inventory of all items including transport of materials to production areas, document and record the receipt and delivery of all materials and products using SAP, and perform required equipment inspections for safe operation

Responsibilities

· 
Perform all daily task in a safe manner

· 
Safely operate a stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and sit down fork lift in high traffic areas and narrow aisles: Includes daily inspections of equipment

· 
Must have great attention to detail while working on deadlines

· 
Must have a positive attitude, work well with others, and implement constructive criticism

· 
Unloads, receives, verifies counts for incoming material within the storeroom

· 
Pick materials for inside and outside customers using RF Scanners with count accuracy

· 
Performs cycle counts daily of materials in the storeroom

· 
Packs and ships materials efficiently and damage free to our outside vendors

· 
Utilizes small hand tools

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

· 
High School Diploma or GED

· 
Experience in material management (warehousing)Minimum 3 years

· 
Experienced with SAP system and proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

· 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

· 
Excellent customer service skills

· 
The ability to work in a team-oriented environment and also work individually without little guidance for completing task

· 
Must be able to perform job duties with a sense of urgency while also focusing on safety
