Role Summary/Purpose

As the Brake Press Operator - Metal Fabricator 2nd shift , you will work at the Erlanger, KY service center to prepare metal subassemblies for power generation equipment and repair. You will use a press break and other equipment to fashion components following blueprints and specific work instruction. This role is currently on Second Shift
Essential Responsibilities

As the Brake Press Operator - Metal Fabricator 2nd shift, you will:

·  Be able to do own setup and operate Brake Press for bending and forming operations.
·  Configure bend allowances for part families required, (stainless and carbon steels)
·  Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints
·  Work with tight tolerances using sweeps and layouts per blueprint.
·  Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake to produce parts for assembly operations
·  Perform spot inspections of parts and complete and maintain paperwork to customer specifications
·  Check machine for defects and ensure calibration and cleanliness
·  Read drawings and blueprints
·  Work with team to insure a safe and working environment
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

·  Ability and willingness to work second shift

·  Ability and willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends, as required
·  Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment
·  Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Desired Characteristics

·  Use a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) controller to input information into machine
·  Ability to calculate figures, basic math and understanding of measuring and metrics
·  Ability to follow work rules, carry out instructions either written, oral, or diagram form
·  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
