Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments of all components, assuring that components match paperwork. Input required data into database during receiving process. Locate material and cycle count materials as required.
Essential Responsibilities

- Verifies that all incoming and outgoing parts/ materials/ components comply with ISO 9001 (2015) International Standard, the Aviation Suppliers Association Quality System Standard ASA-100, and General Electric Engine Services Sourcing Quality Specification S-485 by performing the following duties.
- Performs physical inventory audits, updating inventory records and isolating defects.
- Provides internal logistics support to maximize operational efficiency
- Visually examines materials and accompanying paperwork for defects and sorts articles according to extent of defect. Accurately identified part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities and assured all match the accompanying paperwork.
- Attached identification data onto article, and inputs required part history / part data into the local database.
- Records factors causing materials to be rejected. Certify that all required trace documentation is with the received order or shipped order.
- Assists in the loading / unloading and packaging / unpacking of outgoing / incoming shipments
- Assigns and records waybill information and completes invoicing process for domestic shipments, as needed.
- Maintains clean work environment
- Performs other job duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements

High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience as a material handler preferably in the aviation industry
