Role Summary/Purpose

Our Marketing Coordinator will be a highly creative, detail oriented, marketing professional that will support our overall purpose of “Improving Lives in the Moments that Matter”. As part of the Canadian Marketing Team, you will support marketing activities as we activate marketing programs to support the overall GE Healthcare Canada business. This is an 18 Months Contract.
Essential Responsibilities

Key Marketing Activities: You will work to support the marketing team on a wide range of marketing activities that include: 

 Marketing Administration 
- Marketing contracts and payables administration 
- Proficiency with financial and compliance/regulatory systems 

 Customer Engagement
- Support for our Customer Event Experience Specialist 
- Event optimization aligned with corporate objectives 
- 100+ events per year across Canada  

1. Tradeshows & Conferences 
- Event coordination 
– booth, symposium, customer engagement strategies etc. 
- Facilitate participation – internally & externally 
- Calculate Post-ROI 

2. Educational Events (live or digital) 
- Symposiums 
 - Webinars 
- Customer Showcases/Fairs

3. New Product Introduction Events/Tours 
- Work with relevant teams sharing best practices 
- Planning and On-Site Execution/Troubleshooting 

4. Internal Events; Regional or National Kick Off Meetings; Product Training; Team building 
- Create inspirational/motivational/fun environments 
- Work with teams sharing best practices 
- Planning and On-Site Execution/Troubleshooting 

5. Digital Customer Engagement Strategies 
- Leverage digital channels to enhance customer/brand experience 

6. Social Media engagement 
- Leverage social media channels to engage customers (LinkedIn, Twitter etc.) 

7. Installed Based Marketing
- Support IB marketing programs to increase share of wallet, drive IB Retention & Customer Loyalty (outbound and inbound marketing) 

Communications Campaigns: 
- Press Releases, PR events & Multi-channel 

Campaigns Ad and Promo 
- Customer testimonials/video’s 
- Media buys, advertorials 
- Collateral Creation Supplier management 
- Payments, contracts, compliance 
- Awareness/relationships with suppliers Promotional Items 
- Ordering and inventory management 
- Understand the relationship to the event/product and source the best branding option 

Market Analytics 
- Gather and analyze Customer market insights for specified projects

Qualifications/Requirements


• Degree of Diploma in Marketing or a related field with 2+ years of relevant marketing and communications experience, ideally within GE or a medical industry 
• Demonstrated creativity and track record of success in marketing, communications and event management  
• Excellent planning and organizational skills 
• Able to work independently and handle multiple projects in a highly dynamic, regulated team environment 
• Customer focused (both internally & externally) 
• Superior communication skills (oral and written) 
• Collaborative and solutions oriented 
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft office tools, Smartsheet 
• Candidates with digital and multi-medium marketing experience an asset 
• Computer design software e.g. In-Design, Illustrator, Visio,  
• Ability to travel within Canada/USA and work flexible hours if required 
• Payables system and budget management expertise (systems can be taught – proficiency a must) 
• French would be an asset
